How to take Hair Sample.

1. When taking hair sample, it is best to pull a few strands if possible
and add to the cut hair sample.
2. Drink a glass of water 10-30 minutes before cutting the sample.
3. Rinse area thoroughly where cutting hair
4. Make sure that hair has not been dyed 4 weeks prior to cutting.
5. If hair is dyed cut off coloured area.
NOTE: If sending hair for more than one person, put the first hair in an envelope, seal it and write the name on the envelope before cutting the next hair sample. Repeat the process for each person cleaning the scissors between cuttings. It is very important to keep each hair sample separate and clearly identify with the person's name on each envelope. Please enclose a list of all names with the hair samples..
Handle hair as little as possible and mail with the test order form.
Cut a small lock of hair the size of 1/2 your small fingernail from the back of your head, as close to the scalp as possible and put it in a plastic bag.
